This week’s Photo of the Week features MLJ Adoptions founding and lead attorney in DRC who lost her life earlier this week. Our staff has been deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful woman.
Marie was a unique and extremely gifted individual with a huge personality (and smile) that brought so much joy, laughter and love to those around her. Her work was beyond measure but it is certain she saved children’s lives, she gave children families and she made sure all children she came into contact with knew they were worthy of love and honor. It seems that there can be no greater work on earth, than the work that Marie did and did so well. We want to honor Marie with our gratitude, respect and deepest sympathies. I ask that you pray with us for Marie’s family and all those affected by this deep loss.
