Melanie Obremski is a Home Study Assistant with MLJ Adoptions International. She visits with MLJ Adoptions Internationals’ Indiana families and assists them in completing their home study.
Melanie enjoys being a part of the work MLJ Adoptions International does to provide loving and stable homes to children. She considers it a privilege to support families throughout their adoption process. One of her favorite parts of serving as a Home Study Assistant is learning about each family’s journey to adoption and what motivated them to adopt internationally.
In addition to working at MLJ Adoptions, Melanie also works as an Outpatient Therapist at a local community mental health center in Noblesville, Indiana. It is her passion to empower children and families. When she is not working, Melanie enjoys taking walks with her husband, visiting with her family, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology from Indiana Wesleyan University. Melanie continued her education at Indiana University’s School of Social Work where she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in child welfare. In 2015, Melanie obtained her clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana.
