Meghan Rivard, MSW

Home Study Assistant

Meghan

Meghan Rivard works as a Home Study Assistant with MLJ Adoptions. She visits with MLJ Adoptions’ Indiana families and assists them in completing their home study. Her favorite parts of her role at MLJ Adoptions is meeting our families and being able to help them, even in a small way, make their adoption journey a reality.

Adoption is not just a professional passion of Meghan’s, but also a personal one. She and her husband adopted their daughter domestically in 2013. This experience helps her relate to families going through the adoption process, including all the joy that comes along in adoption.

Meghan has seen how important family is in a child’s life. Being raised in a loving family, she is still close to her parents, and wants every child to experience the same unconditional love. She and her husband, Sam, enjoy spending time with their friends, exercising, watching movies and taking their dog, Max, on walks.

Meghan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Cedarville University and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University. Prior to working at MLJ Adoptions, Meghan served families in a variety of other ways, including proving services in the child welfare system at a children’s center and working with children with Autism.
