Eastern Europe sessionWe have much to celebrate this year with our Bulgaria international adoption program! Not only have we given twenty-one referrals to our families in 2014, but we are thrilled to have welcomed home eleven children to permanent, loving homes. On Saturday, October 25th, MLJ Adoptions will host an Eastern European Adoption Day to celebrate! We invite prospective adoptive families, families currently in process and families who have brought their children home to attend our festivities on this special day.

In the morning, prospective adoptive families can attend our Bulgaria Adoption Information Session from 10:00 – 12:00 at our offices in downtown Indianapolis. We will be recording the morning event online for prospective adoptive parents residing out of state. The session will feature Lydia Tarr, the Program Director for Ukraine and Bulgaria, and two families who have brought children home from Bulgaria. Lydia will discuss who can adopt from these countries and the children in need of families from these countries, in addition to discussing the steps of the adoption process. The families will share their experiences during the adoption process, their travel experiences and settling into their new lives after their children have arrived home. If you are interested in attending this event, you may RSVP here or contact us for more information.

Families in all stages of the adoption process are invited to attend our Eastern European Adoption Celebration which will take place in our Grand Hall from 1:00 – 3:00. Light refreshments will be provided and families are encouraged to bring and share their favorite Bulgarian recipes. Visit our facebook page to see pictures from last year’s celebration.

If you have questions about either of these events, please contact us.
