CAAC Speaker Amy Moore to Talk About Adopting Children With Special Needs

I am thrilled to have a round table discussion concerning Special Needs Children. I have had the opportunity to experience special needs children with two of them living in my home. I understand the fears and concerns that come with the thought of raising children that will require services. One of the most important things I have learned is that in North America we have many resources for children with special needs, which can be taken advantage of. There are services that are available, where people are just wishing to help and walk the journey with you. There are several different types of special needs. This can range from mental and physical disabilities, all the way to and older child adoption. During the round table we will discuss the different special needs, and services available. This will also be a time that you can ask questions, and seek info from the panel.

I am very passionate about the love and care for children with special needs. These are the children that I call the forgotten ones. They seem to go unnoticed, and people are very intimidated by the care that it may take to raise a child with special needs. There is one thing that all orphaned children have in common, the all desire to be loved, and have a forever family. My passion is to place these children in loving, caring homes that can help them become the best they can be.
