Hello everyone! As way of introduction my name is Karson Loscar. I have recently joined the MLJ Adoptions International team as the Client Intake Specialist and Office Manager. I am very excited and privileged to work in the field of international adoptions. I personally have not had a connection with adoption prior to beginning my career with MLJ, but it has opened my eyes to the needs of parentless children worldwide in so many ways and I have developed such a love for being a part of joining children in need with their forever families. I am the first person each family will work with to begin their adoption journey. I can answer any unknowns that prospective adoptive parents may have before starting their journey. I can provide you with information about the country programs we serve and the many children in need of families in these various countries. I provide families with information on what countries they qualify for, characteristics of children eligible for adoption and general questions regarding the adoption process from each country. If I don’t immediately know the answer, I will find it for you! International adoption can have a lot of uncertainties, but I am here to answer your questions or concerns and help you identify which country program is the best fit for your family and get you started with your adoption process.
I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the end of 2018 from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Since my graduation I have been in a full-time position assisting new prospective adoptive families with their interest in international adoption. It is such an honor to me to be able to be a part of such a wonderful and incredible opportunity for families and children available through international adoption. While I am assisting new families with their beginning stages of adoption, I plan to earn a master’s degree in social work online from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, socializing, playing with my cats and going to dinners with my husband.
I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful organization and I strive to serve all the prospective adoptive parents to the best of my ability. I am looking forward to being a part of your adoption journey!
