MLJ Adoptions Hosts 2016 Annual Picnic!

Jul

13Each year, MLJ Adoptions hosts an Adoption Picnic where we invite clients and their families, prospective adoptive parents, adoption and orphan care advocates, friends and neighbors to gather together. This picnic has become a favorite event for our client families, and one that our staff looks forward to every year as well. We enjoy putting faces with names, catching up with past clients, and watching all the beautiful children laugh and play together. It is a true joy to be able to host prospective adoptive families and adoptive families for an afternoon.

Attending the picnic is a great way to connect with others who are currently in the process of adoption, meet families to add to your adoption support network, and just have an overall great time with some great people! The adoption process and the challenge of raising an adopted child may at times feel isolating, so having friends who have been through the journey can be so beneficial. The picnic is an excellent time to develop those relationships.

A bounce house will be on-site for the children to enjoy, and we have a fun craft planned as well. A main dish and drinks will be provided; please bring an item according to the pitch-in assignments below:
